Pale Moon Cardfight Vanguard Grade Perfect Guard: A Review of its Strengths and Limitations

As a Cardfight Vanguard player, I have been experimenting with different clans and decks to find what works best for me. Recently, I had the opportunity to try out the Pale Moon clan and was impressed by its strengths. However, like any deck, it is not without its limitations.

One of the key features of Pale Moon is its ability to produce powerful Grade 3 units quickly. This is made possible by cards like Monoculus, which can be played at a low cost and has the potential to grow stronger over time. In my own deck, I have found that swapping out Monoculus for Coiling Duckbill allows me to maintain a strong defense while still being able to produce Grade 3 units.

Another important aspect of Pale Moon is its reliance on boss monsters. Having at least four bosses in your deck is crucial to success with this clan, and I would recommend running three more Leo-Pald cards alongside the one Lox card that serves as a backup or closer. This will give you the necessary options for handling different situations during gameplay.

Despite its strengths, Pale Moon is not without its limitations. One of the biggest drawbacks is its cost. With prices ranging from $10 to $15 per card, it can be difficult to build a competitive deck without breaking the bank. In my opinion, paying this much money for individual cards is too steep, and I would recommend exploring other clans that offer similar results at a lower cost.

In terms of clan choices, I have found it challenging to find one that meets all of my criteria: being cheap, good, and enjoyable to play. The Pale Moon player in my local group has a deck that is very similar to mine, but they are extremely dedicated to the clan and have spent a significant amount of time building their deck.

Overall, I believe that Pale Moon has the potential to be a powerful clan in Cardfight Vanguard, but it requires careful consideration and strategy to build a competitive deck. With its ability to produce strong Grade 3 units quickly and its reliance on boss monsters, it is definitely worth considering for players looking to take their game to the next level.
